More than one in five adult Tasmanians require the services of Print Radio Tasmania

We’re a radio service for people with a print disability.

That’s 22% of the population, who, for various reasons, have difficulty accessing printed information.

Our listeners include:

  • Older people who may find it difficult to read smaller print.
  • Blind or vision impaired people not able to read newspapers and magazines.
  • People with arthritis or other physical problems who may have trouble holding a book or newspaper.
  • People who understand spoken English but cannot read it easily.

Other listeners include cab drivers and shift workers who want a friendly, informative radio presence to keep their mind occupied while they work.
